Yesterday, the shabby pirate Milligan McDermitt (aka Moldy Millie) was nowhere to be found. At the same time, an enigmatic sailor known only as Pirate Santa set out on the high seas.
Loading up a festive ship full of loot, Pirate Santa raised the Reaper's flag to see who would show up to claim the bounty first.
Sadly, no pirate showed up in time (perhaps distracted by a nearby skeleton fort), so Pirate Santa was forced to turn the loot in for themselves. Pirate Santa IS still a pirate, after all.
Undeterred, Pirate Santa set out again today, collecting another load of treasure for some lucky crew. This voyage proved more eventful, with impatient pirates trying to get their gifts early, and even that rascal Karen popping up to say hello.
Pirate Santa slipped her over-enthusiastic tentacle hugs though and sailed on, dropping some delicious grog cookies over the side as a goodbye present.
This time Pirate Santa came across a brig stopped at a small island and approached them instead. Sailing up slowly with plenty of waving, Pirate Santa made their friendly intentions known and was soon parked alongside them, loading their ship with chests, skulls, and other loot. (Sadly forgot to take pictures of the drop-off)
Then with a hearty "Yo, Ho, Ho, Ho," Pirate Santa was sailing away, ready to bring more joy and cheer to the Sea of Thieves. So if a green ship with a red sail comes sailing up to you, or you find it anchored somewhere with the Reaper's flag flying; it may just be Pirate Santa with a load of treasure just for you. More adventures will come, so have a festive and piratical holiday, and keep some grog out for Pirate Santa.
