Are all the servers set to the same ingame time?

  • In this past hour, I have been jumping from server to server hoping to find one where the time is more favorable to do one of the three skelly ship battles. However, every server I enter seems to be set to the same day/time.
Are they really all set to the time instead of one being (for example) set to 7pm of the 23rd and another to 9am of the 11th? That would be a really big problem for me due to my weekly schedule. Or am I just having rotten luck?

  • @megagamer96 Yes.

This has always been the case for seamless server merging.
Mechant contracts being the main reason as they are time based.

Not to mention updates, patches and server maintenance.

  • @megagamer96 You probably just illustrated why they are all the same time. Different times would result in even more players server hopping.

  • Yes. See How Time is Measured in the Sea of Thieves for more details.

  • @surveyorpete And do the real-life time that the battles happens changes each week?
The Ancient Isles battle starts at 00:00 GMT while in the post says it starts at 04:00.

  • @megagamer96

Where I give the times for the battles, I do say...

Rare are shifting it about in the second and third weeks of the event, to make completing every region a bit easier. But, in week one:

Scroll to the bottom of that other page, for Week Two.

  • @surveyorpete Thanks
    Sorry for missing that bit.
