@strinder said in Why isnt this an unlockable skin?...:
I'm guessing to avoid confusion, having a PC look just like the primary NPC antagonist could cause... issues.
Shoot any skeleton on sight as usual then lol
Also if you go the route of base skin instead of entire override, we could still wear our clothing.

have the skin only be skeleton affect when in moonlight
That... would actually be pretty cool.

@Shuoink
I'm with @strinder . It would be totally confusing to tell the difference between a bad skellie and my crew. Other than the name floating above its head. But in a skirmish....how would that be useful?But I must say, "That would be SOOOOO cool!!"
meh i think it would be negligable, you cant hurt your own crew anyway...
how cool would it be to roll up to an enemy ship looking like skeletons?

I am 100 percent on board with this...
Too be honest we always thought this was a glitch where your clothes aren't being loaded properly but wait...
What if that's meant to be there, not always but just sometimes/randomly and we are becoming a part of the skelly crews ourselves.
Maybe eventually it will be a cosmetic and the devs are getting us up to that point
I'd love to see this be a skin say tied to a cosmetic item that caused you to be either full skellie or have it set so you change at night but be regular during the day.
Definitely allow for them to still show clothing to be able to discern from actual Skellies.
Not sure if i could get behind the differing skellie types being obtainable unless you gained none of the boons or hexs from them but a solid idea for sure.
@shuoink I thought this would actually happen with curse cannonballs. Considering Wanda has been turned into a skeleton, I thought we would too.
