All the emotes are great. But I have been wanting a new one. For all the XBOX players without a mic there should be a "Thumbs up" emoticon. Or a line that says "Yes" Because as far as I know there is nothing like that.

Hey,while I agree, that more emotes would be nice, both things you've mentioned are kinda there already.
"yes" is in piratey speek: "Aye"
and instead of thumbs up, there's clapping.
The problem with "thumbs up" is, that in some cultures it has a totally different meaning, than what most of us are used to.

There might not be a yes, however the pirate equivalent "Aye!" is definitely present which should be good enough as a thumbs up or yes. More emotes would definitely be nice, they could do it in a similar fashion as the item wheel, just press X or (the PC button) for more emotes.
I've been thinking about new emotes as well and would love to see:
- Duel emote
So like the friends emote, if both do it at the same time you could duel. Which basically means turning friendly fire on until you die :) The emote would be raising and shaking your first or something.
- Surrender emote
Waving a white flag as a sign of surrender.
- Parlay emote
Waving a black flag as a sign to parlay with the other crew.
- Bored or yawn emote
To indicate your bored or tired
- Remove the Point emote
One thing I would like to see is that the "Point" emote is removed and added to our tools as a "Pointy finger". As someone else suggested in another thread, the point emote never really points to where you want it. This way we could just select it and point exactly at what we want.
I'm sure there's a million emotes they could add, but adding too much will only make them harder to find. The current amount is already nice although we've seen these already :) Adding a few new emotes now and then could keep things fresh. They could always go the way of Destiny 2 where you can have loads of emotes, however you have to pick a small selection that you "take with you".

@hoppentosse I've meant majority of SoT players/forum users, which is an educated guess. If I've offended anyone by that, I apologize. Feel free to post statistics to prove me wrong.
I don't remember wich one but I know in a trailer a group of pirates do a bow. So there should be more emotes on the way.
I'd also love to be able to use the make friends emote without making friends.... I love the emote I just hate the popup.
Also:
Make the dance sync with music being played.
Give me a IPG stance emote. That makes my character take a stance depening on the item I'm holding similar to the ones on the IPG/Lobby screen.

On what statistic is your claim of a cultural majority based?
In Australia, Greece, or the Middle East it means essentially “Up yours!” or “Sit on this!
is that a statistic?
