Myself and my galleon crew were sailing around doing skull missions and we see this galleon who spawned at an outpost which was near an island we were on coming right for us. As it got closer we notice its a pirate legend ship. So we are not PvP'ers at all in this game but it was obvious these fancy pirate legends wanted to show us how awesome they were so we were like "lets sink them". So not only did we out sail them but we also out cannoned them. Of course they then decided to do what every scrub in this game does, launch themselves on our ship because a straight up naval battle is just too difficult for anyone these days. We killed them when they boarded and sunk their ship.
We had one guy somehow get to the captain quarters and saw him throwing our tressure over board. Me and my friend hacked the pirate legend to bits and p**f he disappeared into green ghost smoke.
We got our two treasure chests back and sold our stuff. I thought it was pathetic to throw our stuff overboard after we sunk them but they were just being petty at that point.
I have to say we haven't played this game in a couple weeks together so we were happy were able to take them out and keep our stuff.
