Basically just requesting the option to display ping to server on xbox. Like the pc has. We all connect to the game the same way why not allow us to see where in the world we are connected. Please.

I don't see why not. This would be nice so that XboX players would stop suggesting that they run into 10000000 PC players that hack all the time.
This way they can pay attention to their PING rate and if they are lagging. Would seriously cut down on a lot of posts where people believe that they ran into hackers.
Surprised this hasn't been locked yet due to the resurrection/necro rule, but I will throw my vote behind it.
I usually rely on my wife to let me know when we are about to tweak out due to network issues. She plays on her laptop next to me on the couch, so it works out. Ideally, this would be allowed on both systems.
i fear that once again i'm the weirdo in here ...i saw a little video in here of a person that met a Toxic crew , but in his topcorner there were to digits that changed all the time , his Framerate and Ping....i missed half the conversation and couldn't follow the events that happened before my eyes , since those two digit were flickering all the time , they drew my attention like a traktor beam, taking me out of what i was watching ...If this would be optional , so i can't deselct this , then why not but please not as an obligation because it would kill my immersement , and maybe many other Pirates theirs Immersement too...
for some maybe thats why u can toggle it on and off for pc.. The ping display is to just inform u if you are experiencing network issues. Many times i have rubberbanded back to a place I previously was standing. After a peek in my router it wasnt my side having the issue but the server was having hiccups. Being able to see that number in the corner would save time in having to get in the router n check things out.
