    I think that maybe you have to follow all the clues to eventually get the song that Merrick plays ( You can play it with him once you are there and it will spawn skeletons)

    4. go to golden Sands outpost and talk to the bartender.

    We are trying to summon the monster on Devil's Ridge with the drums and another crew, but we don't know where exactly. We've tried on the ship, do we have to go to the island itself?

    2nd Journal is west of Shark Tooth Key in cave under unmarked ISland
    3rd Journal is at l14

    Trumpet is earner from talking to Merrick at Shark Bait
