So I was doing Athena's Fortune voyages for my legend friend, and we had nearly completed our third voyage, a fourth (just before this one) was bugged so I was already tense.
We bring everything to Port, sell the normal items and I bring the Chest of legends into the tavern. I noticed that you could place the chest on the bar, and had a laugh about how Tina's dead eyes can't even register the majesty laid before her.
I also noticed that it sat uncomfortably close to the opposite edge of the bar.
I moved it and my friend was ready to join when suddenly "Oh no... I F***Ed it up." Comes through the headset. One crewmate told me to come to the tavern, and I noticed the chest was gone.
I looked at the bar and saw a faint green light between Tina's legs.
After 4 hours of trudging through forests and flotillas of hostile galleons in the second most buggy pirate game I've played in my life, our most useless crewmate (who previously sword-dashed into a Congo line of powder kegs on a visit to Keel Haul fort, practically nuking our ship) decided to test out the counter trick for himself to see if the joke would be funnier the second time.
4 hours... For nothing!
He feckin' launched the chest over the counter with the strength of Cobe Bryant and the mathmatical precision of Steven Hawking, and pegged Tina right in her fat ugly face.
The chest landed at her feet and I've been absolutely seething ever since.
For the love of God almighty, fix this game!
