Can you play Sea of Theaves on the PC if you bought the xbox sea of theaves cd version?

    They say you can play sea of theaves on the PC if you bought the digital copy, but i bought the cd and still need to pay for the game, if i want to play it on the PC.

    Please help me.

    @tysonbvsw ... Yes. It is an XBox Play Anywhere title. Look for it in the Microsoft Store (Games) to install it on PC.

    On PC you must be logged into the same account you use for XBox Live.

    @darth-guybrush My Xbox live account is logged in on my PC, but still need to pay for it if i go to the Microsoft store. And on the Xbox app it literally says that i played the game.
    Is it maybe becuase i'm not 18 yet?

    Also tried it on a account that is 18+, also didn't work(but had not Xbox live).

    Only the digital version is play-anywhere. If you bought a physical copy of the game, it can only be played on Xbox. This is how all play-anywhere titles work on Xbox.
