So has anyone else talked to the barmaids and asked the 3rd question? The one about game n fortune or treasure?
The barmaid on ancient spire says there is treasure hidden on the outpost itself! Another one (can't remember which outpost she was at but she was very drunk) said there was a bunch of treasure on devil's ridge.
Has anyone actually found anything? On ancient spire anyways?
Barmaid tells of treasure.
I found a castaway chest on the waterfall after speaking to Teri in the pub at Dagger Tooth Outpost, I sailed to Devils Ridge and looked around. I found the waterfall, and investigated it closer, to find an access point half way down. Finding the doorway would be effort lol so I went to the top and dropped down to a ledge by the waterfall, and walked in to the recess of the water fall and there was a chest. Not sure if coincidental or not, but I'm going to take it back to the barmaid as she said she wanted it to see what happens.
So to surmise, West Side of island is a waterfall, half way down was a castaway chest. Will post on result of barlady - chest giving lol
@wiccanwolfie I'm pretty sure it's coincidental. If you look hard enough there is random treasure on pretty much every large island unless someone else has just cleared it out. While sailing with a galleon crew on Friday evening we had one guy searching for random loot while the rest of us were digging up the indicated treasure and he always came back with 3 or 4 items.
@kungfustu72 sadly yeah just tried to speak to her with it and no different options, so if there's anything to it it's not what I found lol

@ssj-gallifreyan I put a bit of work into this yesterday, i didn't find anything.
I even had a bounty quest to kill the pirate which was mentions by the barmaid. So i killed him and came back with his skull, but it didn't help. Seeling the skull to the OoS didn't help either.
Running around the outpost, trying my luck and digging at some spots didn't work.
I talked to all NPCs on this outpost, but didn't get another hint.But i found a suspicious spot, just in front of the shops. There is a small darker spot, which looks a bit like a spot where someone did dig already.
For now i would call this just a rumor.
Imagine if you did find the spot where the "treasure" was buried and all that was there was a bottle with a riddle leading you to another location... where there was another riddle and some new dangers.... and so on... until you actually find something extremely valuable.
SoT needs some of those really involving mysterious voyages.
@lucky-13-x Ok, nothing was there this time. I guess it's just NPC chat...... spoke too soon. Found a chest under water below the waterfall. Likely coincidence.

Yeah, likely rumor. I can't get any other hints out of the barmaid on Ancient Spire.

One of the barmaids we had to talk to during Merrick's quest mentioned bringing something to her! I asked about her necklace and she said that she is always looking to add to it and that if I ever found anything I should bring it her way.
Yeah, I too was wondering if this was a quest, to bring her items.
