Hello everyone! The game is so close to launch, and I am looking forward to enjoying the complete experience the devs have made thus far. Before this day, I wanted to share my a story during my time in the first closed betas.
So my story begins as one would expect, I set sail with a band of strangers to form as a full crew of a mighty galleon. We sailed the open seas to explore, find treasure, and seek out other pirate ships to sink.
Where it gets interesting is when we come across a certain sloop anchored down by an island we sought out for more treasure. After a few moments trying to contact the quiet crew of the tiny vessel, my crew and I sought to take down the small crew and their vessel. As my crew mates pounded the ship with cannon fire, I had an interesting idea to sneak a gunpowder barrel onboard to deal big damage to the ship. I took a barrel to the boat, but only got there as the ship began to fully sink into the ocean. However, as I stood on the deck of the sinking ship, I was instantly flying in the air. The sloop, instead of sinking into the ocean, randomly launched into the sky with me still onboard. So I was rocketing away from the island, ship, and crew mates, while the sloop flew away never to be seen again. I was screaming with panic and confusion as my crew mates were utterly baffled by the oddity. To my relief, I plunged back down into the sea, not splat onto another island, and have a siren waiting for me to return to my ship. This was definitely a hilarious experience for both me and my fellow crew, as we sailed in a world where the devs still tested the world and its waters.
I would like to thank those that were interested in reading my tale, and hope you all enjoyed. I look forward to hearing the stories that will be made, and hope to make memories of my experiences in this game. Here is to wishing the best for the full release of the game, and beyond.
