hmm I was plain disappointed. they're 100% fetch quests. I passed something like an hour going island to island to search for the right colored chicken while the pigs we randomly captured drove us mad squealing until one of ours started doing shouting contests with him and finally shot it.
And we made 146 coins for it. naw thanks I'll keep on chasing boxes and sinking ships to steal theirs, too. it's been boring and underwhelming and not really rewarding, considered that we can find a chest in around 1 minute once we arrive on the right island.
I know the voyage in this game is more important than the destination, but I also want hats to show my voyage off.
I think that one thing that could make it a lot better would be to remove the mission cap of 3, and to be able to have the merchant quests always active, so that while you chase skeletons and chests around the world, you'll also capture animals when you encounter them. I can see a funny scenario in which I'm counting my steps to find a chest when I suddenly call screaming for my teammates to bring a cage because that one chicken we need for a quest we had for one hour just crossed my road.
Making them the focus is just pretty boring, and not even really good fun for pacific players since they'll encounter aggressive ones that'll attack them, and they'll see their cute little piggies drown squealing a slow and painful death. pretty bleak

@tedakin I can't really say anything since it's not allowed on this forum but there will be more things to get for the missions.
Yeah, skulls. Which are like minion forts with less skeletons and poorer loot.
Meanwhile I have to say i got bored with the forts, too. The skeletons spawn in droves, can tank multiple blunderbuss close range shots and sniper rifle headshots, and are dead accurate regardless of how you try and dodge. And you have to stay there and kill dozens of them, ranging from the initial excitement to more of a frustrated boredom. we found ourselves sighing and asking with increasing annoyance if the captain would just please spawn. (then in one of 2 of them the crypt was laughably empty).
