Sea of Thieves final beta install error

    Hi,
    I'm getting "0x87E10BD0" error while installing the game from Microsoft Store. I've tried all solutions but nothing seems to work. Any tips?

    I am getting the same error. After clicking Install and selecting a drive, the status changes to "Acquiring License" and then errors out with "Something Unexpected Happened Code: 0x87E10BD0".

    I should also mention that this is the first time installing this game - no previous Alpha's or Beta's.

    or

    1.Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
    2.Type WSReset.exe, and then click OK.
    3.The Store will now open, and the following message will appear: The cache for the store was cleared. You can now browse the store for apps.

    or

    Try downloading any free App in windows store, then just cancel it and try downloading Sea of thieves beta again.

    Some people have also had success restarting their PC as soon as installation starts, before you get the error.

    Good luck to everyone getting the code, since the problems are with Windows Store there are so many different things wrong and ways to fix them.

    i have the same error. ive searched all across the internet and nothing works. ive spent my whole afternoon trying to figure it out and i got nothing. meanwhile my friends happily play sea of thieves. i will be extremely disappointed if this happens at launch someone please fix it.

    Be sure to login to a Microsoft account before trying to install. If you click "No Thanks", the download will error at "Acquiring License".

    @el-espectro-0 Starting another free install then cancelling it and trying sea of thieves again worked for me! Thanks!
