nVidia DSR?

  • There is no way to play with a higher resolution then the native one?

I would like to use the nVidia DSR feature to increase the resolution above 1080p, wich is my monitor resolution.

Resolution scale in-game yet to come?

DSR not working yet, is it?

  • I'd also like this to be implemented.

Not to mention we can't even force driver side anti aliasing. At least I haven't found a way to using nvidia inspector or the control panel -access is denied when trying to select the game's EXE file.

  • I think this problem is on nvidia's side, not on game's side. I suppose you can modify game properties outside of it's own settings thanks to nvidia driver's tech injection. That injection tech is probably implemented for Win32 apps only, which Sea of Thieves is not. So unless they develop it also for UWP apps you won't be able to do that.

I was wondering if I could use nvidia's stereo 3D vision for this, but haven't tried it yet. Don't have much hope for it though (I know that they have this developed for DirectX games only (so no OpenGL) that Sea of Thieves uses, but still, it's UWP and not Win32 app).

  • Found a work around. Using Nvidia's Control Panel, set your default screen's resolution to a non-native value -higher than your native 1080p.

Then you will be able to select the new resolution as "native" on your game. Game looks amazing now!

Follow this guide on how to change the native resolution of your display:
