So what if through the gold hoarders you do enough voyages for them or get to a certain rank you periodically get Skeleton keys that are a one time use you get to open a chest of your choose in stead of turning it in and get more gold and a random cosmetic

@wevuss Someone correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the Skeleton Keys just a virtual item that you use to unlock higher tier voyages? They're not an actual physical item that you collect are they? I know in the beta I just figured they represented your ability to unlock the next level of reputation grinding. But maybe not.

Good luck trying to get one of those crazy Hoarders to give you one of their keys. They'd much rather die than do that!
@musicmee Yeah, so they're just a representation of a higher level of voyages, not really a physical thing the players ever possess right? Again, I am just drawing off the knowledge of what I saw in the beta (which is starting to get fuzzy now). Each level you'd unlock a key, which when completed unlocked more quests of a higher difficulty that would be available for you to purchase.
@wevuss That would be a great idea. Lootboxes mechanic is fun when you can dig them from islands for free. And that solution will have sense of lategame in this game.
@musicmee Its a gimmicky way of making a fetch quest more....interesting? But yeah, it would be cool if they were physical items you could obtain and do something with. But sadly it doesn't seem very likely as of right now.
