Garrrrr! I've lost me way and can't figure out how to sail properly! Does anyone have any pointers for a new pirate who hasn't gotten his sea legs yet? Tips on angleing me sails, what that does, and how and when i should open me sails all the way. A pint of grog to the kind souls who help.
Avast! I don't know how to steer or how to operate me sails!
Angling your sails to catch the wind gives you the most speed, there will be an audible cue when it's at full billow.
If your sails are up, but anchor isn't down, you can still turn in place. (Useful for leaving areas)
Half-sail is a thing, as is quarter, and any other fraction to adjust your speed an turning radius.
