Ordered from the Microsoft Store (Thread) Is there a beta invite email?

    Hey everyone! I had ordered the game from the Microsoft Store and I'm not sure if we are getting an Closed Beta email.

    I pre-ordered the game 10 days ago (along with that sweet sweet controller) and was able to download a file from the Sea of Thieves game page from the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10. It downloaded a 100MB file but when you launch it, it says... too early.

    I also noticed that I own the preorder DLC. If I click on that, it takes me to a page that does not allow me to download anything, YET. It only has a drop down that shows the price of the game.

    What I see

    Does anyone else see the same thing or have something different on their stores? Or maybe an option to download the Closed Beta?

    I have the same. The full Beta download is not meant to be available till 24hrs before the Beta begins.

    (Also preordered the sweet controller for the display shelf)

    Search for sea of thieves closed beta in the Microsoft store. At this point it should be up and available for download if you preordered. It may appear as technical alpha when you download it like mine did but it’s the same thing as the beta.
