I’ve completed all the Act 2 voyages and challenges, as well as the Bilge Rats Weekender event. On top of that, I also did dive voyages with the 200 Doubloon chest, which sometimes bug out and force you to cancel since you can’t return to the seas.
In the end, I only have 1430 Doubloons.
This is really frustrating because I can’t afford all the cosmetics from Duke’s Black Market. I actually have to choose which ones I won’t be able to get (I have in-game screenshots as proof).
I don’t understand how this was calculated. The total from all challenges and quests doesn’t come close to covering the 4500 Doubloons worth of cosmetics. The margin seems wrong, especially considering the bugs and the crew voyages where you only get gold while your teammate gets the Doubloons.
So my question is: how am I supposed to earn more Doubloons now?
Do you have any solution so I can get all of Duke’s cosmetics, please?
The time given over a weekend feels very short, and the voyages don’t reward enough Doubloons.
Are there more weekend events or voyages planned before the Black Market changes?
I also tested something with another crew: if they leave the server, the Doubloon chest disappears. So it’s basically impossible to steal it unless the other crew stays in the game, which doesn’t make sense.
Overall, this update still has a lot of issues. The balance between earning Doubloons, the prices in the Black Market, and the time required feels off and needs improvement.
