I wasn't sure where else to post this, but I seriously felt it was important to submit to the Sea of Thieves team.
I wanted to share an idea for a potential crossover update inspired by Peter Pan. I am 18 years old, and while it seems cheesy and kiddy, I think it would serve as a huge nostalgic piece of the game for me and other people my age and older. It could make have a tall tale where players travel to Neverland or even just try to find Pan or fight Hook on the Sea of Thieves, or have you meet Lost Boys, or maybe have some sort of flying element in the tall tale with Pixie Dust. I think it would be an incredible addition to the game, obviously if Big Disney agrees, but I think many many players would appreciate the crossover just as much or even more than the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover. I think this crossover would bring a very nostalgic and adventurous tone while still fitting perfectly within the pirate fantasy theme of the game and would appeal to both older players who grew up with this world and younger audiences as well.
Thank you for all the work you put into Sea of Thieves, I really appreciate all the creativity and continued support for the game.

Potential Peter Pan Tall Tale Crossover
Peter Pan isn't owned by Disney, it's in the public domain (at least the original play and novelisation is).
JM Barrie gifted the rights to Great Ormond Street Hospital in the UK in 1929. Although it entered public domain in 2024, GOSH continue to still be able to collect Royalties in the UK, thanks to what's called the "Peter Pan Clause" in UK copyright law. This was an exception made for the charity. It means they can continue to collect royalties from the IP but cannot stop anyone using it and have no creative control.
(Can you tell I watched a Chris Spargo video on this recently!? LOL)
So, maybe Rare will be able to do something there and, given their prior support of the charity (Sails of Hope), maybe it could have a charitible element? Such as Emporium items to support GOSH.
