He’s right, though, most people in this game don’t care about gold because it comes so easily. I tripped fell and accidentally have $70M with nothing I want to spend it on.

I bought almost all available cosmetics/decorations/trinkets in the shipwright shop, and almost all hats/tops/pants/jackets/dresses/etc.
Skipped the Athena stuff. They cost so much and offer so little.If you focus on what u actually use, u'd realize u don't really need more gold.
Okay, maybe I still need some to fund my hourglass supplies.Gold really is super easy to come by, especially if you stay in the know of what is top paying at the time. Like I “casually” made 1.4mil the other night doing the new sanctuaries with emissary up and selling to Morrow’s Peak. Anything you sell to Morrow’s right now has an extra 25% added. If you’re worried about running emissary the whole time, just vote it up right before you go do the sanctuary. If you have an ashen key as well you’ll hit grade 5 from just 1 vault.
Smuggler loot also gives a pretty penny so I pick up lots of bottles and you don’t run an emissary for them. I just pick up bottles until I have 3-4 for a specific location and they seem to always go to the same turn in location when I do that. It’s a side quest that I usually do as the last thing before I get off as I’ll have collected plenty of bottles by then and don’t care if I lose my ship as I intended to get off anyway.

No, but we have "Gold Hour" or whatever its called.

Twice a day, for a single hour. Gold is increased. All treasure turned in you get 1.5 more than average selling price.Everything is within game, details and such.

Been solo 9/10 for 7 years. And...its easy gold when you can play SS as well.

Well, how often is to much? or to little.
Most of my hours have been solo. As burnbacon pointed out, there’s an increased gold hour daily. The schedule can be found online. I’m not against more double gold periods, but gold is extremely easy to come by and there’s the daily gold rush as well.
@burnbacon Clearly there’s no reasoning with you all, here I am preventing an idea with quite literally 0 drawback’s. I now see why Sea Of Thieves is declining.
