With the arrival of the Pirate Profile system in insiders, many of us have found new joy in creating and sailing with different pirates — exploring new looks, playstyles, and stories. It’s an amazing feature that opens the door to roleplay, fresh starts, and creative freedom ofcourse.
But for those of us who have already poured years into our original pirates — grinding out commendations, reaching Pirate Legend, chasing titles and memories — it’s tough to leave all of that behind. Starting from scratch with zero progress can feel more punishing than refreshing, especially knowing how much time and heart goes into earning those milestones.
That’s why I’d love to see an option to combine progress between Pirate Profiles — but only after both pirates have reached Pirate Legend. It would be a way to honor our time, while still preserving the challenge and meaning behind that legendary title.
How it could work:
This merge would be completely optional and only available once both pirates are Pirate Legends.
It could take place within the Athena’s Fortune Hideout — maybe through a special ritual, ceremony, or item that symbolizes the unity of our legends.
Progress like commendations, titles, and reputation would be combined between the two pirates.
Gold, Doubloons, and cosmetics could be merged.
Pirates would keep their unique appearances — this isn’t about becoming one character, but about letting their journeys support each other.
Why it matters:
This isn't just about efficiency — it’s about respecting the time, memories, and adventures we’ve had on the seas. Giving players the ability to carry over their legacy into a new pirate doesn’t take away from the journey — it enhances it. It encourages creativity without making us feel like we’re losing time or something every time we start anew.
For many of us, these pirates are more than just characters. They're a part of us as you've said — and letting their stories grow together would be a truly legendary step forward.
