After spending days grinding away I was upset when I noticed that the guild emmisary gave less exp to your guild than reapers bones and still made you show up on the map. I'd love a guild exp boost if you use the emmisary or the removal of you showing up on the map after reaching grade 5.

Reaper bones are visible all the time, not just when reaching grade 5.
As a Reaper bones you only have one turn in point where you profit from the multiplier; as a Guild emissary you have 7.
Those two perks balance the smaller multiplier somewhat.
@lem0n-curry I know, and I'm not asking for some major change to a multiplier or anything, just a bump in exp for the guild. I think that guild emmisary is on the right track but just not there yet. The could just be me though
Guild emissary isnt designed to make it possible to solo level a guild, its supposed to just give you a boost, but the reason it still marks you is because anything that can give you a bonus to all loot, even if a small one, should have a considerable risk. If you dont want to take the risk that comes with an emissary of any kind, then you just dont raise it. They even put a warning in game that tells you emissaries are a risk.
Your entire guild is supposed to work together to be able to unlock stuff over time, its not supposed to be a fast gain.

You can unlock Guild Emissary play at Guild Reputation 15, and activate it at the Sovereigns.If you are a Guild Emissary, then you will get bonus Reputation for both the Company and your Guild when you hand in at the Sovereigns. This is a smaller bonus than if you were a Company Emissary.
Therefore, if you want to progress in a specific Company, their own Emissary is more powerful but you will earn unboosted Guild Reputation. If you are a Guild Emissary, you’ll progress your Guild faster but progress the individual companies more slowly than if you were their Emissary.
How do Guild Emissaries differ from the Reaper's Bones?
Guild Emissaries can deliver treasure from all companies and earn a bonus on them all at once. This is similar to the Reaper’s Bones but Reapers only have one cash in location and can be seen on the map at all times, so they offer a higher bonus. That would be a bug. Emissary grade only boost their own faction exp (also known as reputation). There shouldn't be a boost to guild xp while flying reaper emissary (basically earning base guild xp at all grade).
The guild emissary is the only way to boost your guild xp passed the base value.
For instance, let's say that you sell a Merchant's crate worth 1000 xp and 1000 gold :
- as a Reaper Emissary grade 5, you should get 1000 xp for the guild, 2500 xp to Reaper's Bones and 2500 gold.
- as a Guild emissary grade 5, you should get 1750 xp to the guild, 1750 xp to Merchant's Alliance and 1750 gold.
@crowedhunter The only benefit of the flag is to give more gold on any item accepted on sovereigns. But there are so many negative points that I don't see any point in using it, if the multiplier were 2x it would be more attractive.
You are seen on level 5 without being able to see anyone.
You only get 0.75x or 0.50x, I didn't check the value.
But the main problem is In pve the flag speeds up a little to level up your guild, but it's still slow, hours and hours of farming to increase 1 or 2 lv. In pvp the flag does not give any or almost no xp buff for selling an hourglass or winning battles, it is more worth using athena/reaper.
@lleorb Yeah, hard pass. Maybe this concept has too much heft to be balanced in this environment. You can't really adjust the dials any which way without making it better than everything else or just pointless. The reveal on map feels kind of like an adjacent punishment. It doesn't really detract directly from the benefits at all. It might even be beneficial to guilds because then they can recruit people who don't have access to the emissary.
@crowedhunter yeah, with the difficulty of getting it, and the danger of using it, it needs to give way more guild exp. It's frankly stupid that the GUILD emissary is less effective as reapers bones at getting GUILD exp. I'm fine with the lower emissary value and revealing yourself but only if the exp boost was way stronger.
@jessdoesxbox This is because you are supposed to have friends sail on the guild and level up as well. If you don't, you will struggle
