i was just asking myself something because i was playing with a friend in a fight when someone got on our ship, so i hit him 3 times with the combo of my sword, he hit me 3 times and then i hit him 2 more times before he killed me with a 4th hit with his sword so he hit me 4 times and me 5 so i was just asking myself if it was possible that it was a bug or a lag or if it's just a hack
Is it possible that some hit from a sword doesn't do any damage ?

Happens more often than it should especially if you do HG, you shoot someone with Blunderbuss, obviously they are still alive, but you expect to have damaged them at least 50%, then slash them with a sword 3-4x times and they 1hk you.... The worst part, you are not sure what not registered, was it the blunderbuss or the sword as both should have killed the enemy potentially. Thankfully I got my curse already and do HG very occasionally.

@zig-zag-ltu it wasn't in a fight for the curse just a normal fight when we see each other ship, but yeah i don't get why it's doing this cause normally in 4 hit with a sword you can kill a player
@laser6704 this is part of the hit registration issues.
On your client it looks like you hit, however the server says no and doesnt deal damage, this can happen with guns and sword alike
My daughter had a bug on Thursday where her equipment wheel wouldn't pop. She is young and hasn't hot keyed anything to the dpad on her controller, so she couldn't use a single item. She could interact with barrels and then use the consumable item she pulled from there. Ultimately, she had to log off and rejoin to fix the issue.
I know it isn't the bucket issue to which you are referring, but it definitely created a bucket issue on my ship!

That is something that came with the recent patch, at least on Xbox.
