Saw a reaper brig finish fotd as I sold a chest, thought I'd try a bit of ambush tactic at reapers so scuttled only to notice I changed seas doh. Obvs that's on me but I'd say if other option is first it's easier to correct if you choose the wrong one
Scuttling to change seas should be 2nd option
I agree.
To those saying "Just read it better." Yes, obviously, however many of us have been playing for 5 years and have a certain familiarity with where certain options should be. OP isn't asking for a secondary confirmation or whatever, just that the new option comes second in the menu. I have no problem with that, as honestly it makes sense to me and it allows for people who are still getting use to the new option to not make the same mistake as OP did.
And for those saying "Don't scuttle your ship to try to make a sneaky play"...why not? Tools not rules, and it can be effective. Just a faster way to sink your ship, rather than ramming it into the island and waiting for holes to sink it. It's a fair tactic.
I agree the new option should come second on the menu.
I have to agree that muscle memory of playing for so many years will often take over until we get used to it. Unfortunately, in the meantime, it might ruin our entire session to do what we’ve done for years.
Also everyone I have talked to of my circle has the description bug where the 2nd option isn’t understandable as scuttle and stay. So that doesn’t help much either.
