You are asking paying customers to play unpaid freelancer for a company that doesnt care itself right now. Are you really believing people should do that? Is that your real honest, unbiased solution? People should put in hours of work to report, instead of the company creating a proper report tool?
You lack patience and understanding and it shows.
In-game report features, while helpful, are also, as I mentioned earlier, a double edged sword. You will have scenarios where innocent players playing the game normally will get unfairly punished for simply playing the game, this is especially troublesome for games that have PvP combat mixed in with casual scenarios. Little Johnny isn't going to be happy they got sunk while trying to fight Briggsy for 20 minutes, and will not hesitate to report on sight because players like those are just simply playing the game, but not the way they want to.
Suggesting such features, while also presenting this hostile attitude towards the calmer, mentally healthy approach that Manbush has been trying to suggest, shows to me that you will be one of many people that could abuse this feature for your own ideal way of playing the game. That's just not right by any means.
As for the cheating issues and the lack of addressing: I think what you need to realize is that Rare already knows how widespread these issues are. They get discussed in many areas besides these forums, cheaters are an issue that is noticeably on a rise thanks to players recording their instances of battles with these lowlives. That being said, we have no idea what Rare is going to do about this issue, and in all honesty: we don't need to.
The one thing you DON'T want to do about addressing issues related to people hacking your software, is telling the public, or hell, even your insiders (which with its lack of real restriction on joining, it might AS WELL be public) that you're working on fixes for it. Any of these hackers lurking about will just pass that information along, and prepare to bypass whatever Rare does next. Anticheats will only work very temporarily, patching potential hacks is only temporary, without any way to carefully restrict how players make their Microsoft accounts just to play this game after purchasing it, these issues will continue to be rapid until Rare just might have to give up.
That being said, we're still in the December-January rot, the devs have not been in office for two weeks due to the recent holidays, and assumedly, they've been in their offices for the past two weeks working on updates/fixes for Season 8, future season content, the upcoming and future adventures, the next mystery, next set of emporium cosmetics, future events, etc. This game still needs to continue to pump out content, and I'm sure the bug fixing team has more than enough work ahead of them to handle these cheating issues.
