Just wondering about some new emotes for your character to do, much like the book emotes.
Drinking - Simply holding out a green bottle and drinking.
Pipe Smoke - None of that is in the game, although the Dark Brethren's table had singed marks from the Captain's side during chapter four of A Pirate's Life, so I'm thinking of idle smoking from a pipe, sitting or standing, making smoke circles.
Wood Carving - Character sits or stands, carving a wooden figure with a knife.
Good idea. Could suggest a few more.
Cleaning the cutlass
Juggling skeleton skulls
Dropping cannon ball on your foot
Breaking your banjo like a rock star
Sipping some alcohol and then blowing it on the torch (human flamethrower)
Playing that game where you stab a desk with a knife between your fingers (im sure it has a name, which i dont know)

And before someone inevitably will say "smoking emote won't happen as it might look like Rare endorsing smokng" its a game about pirates, does rare suddenly support piracy in real life? Didnt think so lol
Marketing to children by making smoking look cool played a large part in getting many long term hooked.
If the only function of something is to make it look cool then a strong argument could be made that it's sending messaging that is not consistent in a family friendly environment.
Non graphic shooting is just competition
Drinking wasn't necessary but it does bring effects to the game that are beyond just being portrayed as cool.
