Could someone please help me understand what to do to complete this quest (Monthly events -- Emissaries' Bane)?

Fr version : "Placez des lots de cartes sur votre table du capitaine."
En version : "Place decks of cards on your captain's table."
Do we have to buy maps and search for treasures? Should these cards be stolen from other players? Do you have to be under an emissary flag?

There's not good advice lol.
Bury a couple things so you have a map bundle. Have a couple of things to bury. Put your alliance flag up and point your cannons up. (Peaceful thing).
If you have the pink light hide it..
But approach ships, ask if they want to trade maps or commendations or if they would help you do them. There's a bunch of commendations and achievements that seem pvp, but if you find a cooperative crew they're easy to get.
Finding a cooperative crew is an entirely different issue.........
