Map Expansion GİANT LANDS

  • There must be road entrances in a certain part or sections of the map, and these roads lead us to large patches of land, so large that it is 3 4 times the size of the SOG
    and mountains , wonderful waterfalls we've never seen before. We travel along rivers and streams across that great landmass. We can make voyages that belong to that region. there can be temples or forts bigger than normal, new enemy types or variant, maybe a new faction just new place to discover and play.
    There should be a system and it should be able to keep the normal map and this new island on the same server.
    For example, me and my ship should stay on the same server when I go to that island and return, if another ship comes to the island with us, they should come to the same island and return to the same server, but cannot travel during the war or it may just drop the treasures something like a server plugin prite life online version
    If we want now, maybe 2-3 years later they can bring it. like sirens ....

    Let me know yours thoughts about this new map expansion idea

  • @mastiedarkfie That would mean to get rid of the naval battles and change SOT for Skyrim, ending many promising buccaneers' careers.

  • @metal-ravage ı dont think that way. It will be a popular place when its first come to the game, but after that, it will be a place to go from time to time, there is no free naval in that part of the game.
    we can see more different tactics and battles

    The whole premise of the game, as per the game's own description on this website is based around naval battles and exploration:
    "A VAST WORLD WHERE THE SEAS ARE HOME TO CREWS OF OTHER PLAYERS. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SET SAILIS ALREADY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS, SO YOU’RE FREE TO CHART YOUR OWN PATH ACROSS THE WAVES."

    A new, land-based area just wouldn't fit with the way that the game works. Movement around larger islands like Thieves' Haven is already annoyingly slow to say the least, so we would need to have a new method of travel which may not really fit in with the theme and current technology seen in the game.

    We already see temples and forts bigger than normal through the Tall Tales and A Pirate's Life adventure, so I would say yes to instances that allow for more unique playstyles, but no to the idea of a brand new region that is land-based.

    If we were to get a new region I would much prefer to see a new island region, but even that is doubtful as the game is heavily reliant on running on old tech (original Xbox One) and the servers have proven time and again to be tested with what we already have.

  • @mastiedarkfie I would like another region eventually, but one that involves sea. Your suggestion strays away from what this game is about.

  • @mastiedarkfie your idea is interesting just not for sea of thieves vast islands would not fit in even with the lore SoT is built on if you're looking for a POTC vibe look towards the 5 tall tales the game offers or better yet maybe a recommendation of my own cause i always thought a pirate city like tortuga would be nice and they could reuse the assets from Tall Tale #3 captain of the damned

  • yeah got it nice pp btw it could be like tall tale captain of the dammed but bigger dont need to be a giant peace of land like just land it can be like a giant area
