Simple question, really - with all of the places you can sit on your ship, why is the edge railing of the crow's nest not 1 of them?

And I still wonder why we can't sit on the front tip of our ship...I think it's because the pet and player sit locations cancel each other out. There's a bunch of broken pet locations on the galley where it says "cannot place parrot on this perch" because there's sit locations too close. I don't understand why there's not more parity between the pet and player sit locations, WHY CANT POLLY USE THE CAPTAINS CHAIR!
Edit: I can still place my bird on the captains chair it's just a bit finicky. Also, I sat on Polly...

Jokes aside I agree that they should improve it. The pet should be able to be put anywhere you're able to sit, and you should be able to sit in places where you can put your pet, but the game should better detect if something is already sitting in a specific place and just block anything else from going there.

The crossbeams? I thought of those too, but since those move so frequently, I can kind of forgive those for not having the sitting prompts.
