I have a bit of an issue with sea of thieves using the wrong mic. normally this wouldn't bother me too much but its using the internal noise cancelation mic in my headset. which mean that
A: I sound super weird to everyone playing with me.
and B: I cant hear anything! when another process is using the mic in my headset it switches to hands free mode. which means I cant hear any audio coming from my computer because its expecting a phone signal. all I hear is static.
I've tried to manually force it to use my snowball mic through windows without luck. and I've tried disabling it all together without any luck. I still just hear static whenever I turn on the game.
my headset is a Bose QC 35 if its relevant.
Appreciate the help. I basically cant play the game right now as its not just sea of thieves that is silent when the headset goes into hands free mode. as I said its the entire computer so using third party voice chat software like discord is not possible.
