Sea of Thieves Halloween (2021) Proposal.
Most Pirate Legends have already purchased all they can in the game, and their gold coffers are spilling with millions of gold and tens of thousand's of Doubloons.
Some say there is no point in becoming a Pirate Legend because all you unlock are quests that level up all 3 companies at the same time, which is disappointing.
I have an idea for two "new" map regions that'll expand gameplay greatly for Pirate Legends and new players alike, also increasing play time for veteran players who've done it all.
Proposal For The Southern Sea:
From A-21 to S-21 and below there is a void of uncharted ocean.
What I propose is that you bring the Sea of Sorrow (a macabre Sea seen in your official art book) in that region, that'll act as a gatehouse for my next proposal.
Proposal For Southern Sea Special Region A-24 to C-24 and below:
A shroud that mirrors the Shores of Gold with a special island with a new NPC that'll allow players to sail to a
secondary map, "The Sea of The Damned" (Similar to Charon and the River Styx, allowing people from the realm of the living to safely pass into the realm of the deceased).
However this secondary map will be exclusively for Pirate Legends who've purchase a Ferry Man Key, which can be purchased with Doubloons,
a type of Shroud Breaker that's attached to your ship for that specific Shroud area just like how the Shroud Breaker for the Shores of Gold, that only works in the Shores of Gold region.
This region will be filled with new enemies and new loot that'll unlock cool new things that can be used on the overworld (vanity items).
Proposal For Rewards In The Sea of the Damned:
1: The Ferry Man's Figurehead (as seen on the FOTD and the Ferry of the Damned) for sailing in these new uncharted waters for a certain deration. i.e. "Sail in the Sea of the Damned for X Hours" Reward: Ferry Man's Figurehead.
2: A new type of Ship Livery, just like how characters have costumes that go over their initial clothing. Costumes for Ships can be rewarded or purchased here,
i.e. a Complete Ship Livery that makes your ship look like a Ghost Ship or a Skeleton Ship or even the Ferry of the Damned itself! Which can be used on the overworld. Similar to Ghost Captain Sails. That'll also override any cosmetic made by you or your crew. These "ship costumes" will not have as much freedom in customization,
however it'll make your ship look amazing. Prices for these complete ship costume cosmetics should be very expensive and only be purchased with in game currency.
3: Ghost Curse that'll allow your character to look similar to the Crew of the Athena's Fortune found in the Pirate Lord's Hideout.
4: Equipment and clothing that fits this region. Similar to the Eyepatch of the Damned and the Jacket of the Damned. Along with attire that fits the Sea of Sorrow.
Proposal for The Sea of The Damned:
1: New bosses and enemies. Perhaps Skeleton Kraken's, Ghost ships that patrol the sea like Skeleton ships do on the overworld or paranormal encounters with Ghost Crews and Ghost Fleets.
2: New events which would unlock the "Complete Ship Livery Costumes", referred to above.
3: New NPC's and Quests Specific to this region (Tall Tales to unlock the "Ghost Curse").
4: All loot found here should be Ghost loot.
