German translation- Empty Barrels

There are a lot of problems with the german translation since the update sea of fortune...

There are a lot of mistranslations in all the languages. In spanish in a lot of things the same happens. For example, the "Store" string from the barrels (the verb "to store") in spanish is translated as "tienda" which is "store" (the place).

A lot of things like that. But this is not translators issues, this is Rare's issues, because they don't give enough context.

I'll just copy and paste a comment I made under a similar issue:
It's embarassing, really. The Italian translation too is a total trainwreck.
Sometimes you get a broken mess of garbled text, other times you find untranslated lines left in English, and where there is an actual translation it is often wrong or unnatural.
For example, the Italian for "sunset" is "tramonto", but the game translates it as "partenza sole" which literally means "sun departure". The Ocean Crawler set, which should be inspired by crabs, becomes "Lombrico Oceanico" which means "Ocean Earthworm". It's hilarious and infuriating at the same time, it's baffling how such a popoular game can have a localization this poor.
I would volunteer as a translator just to fix this shameful Italian script.

Hahahahaha, I'm sorry but the devs at Rare never cease to amaze...

Srsly, they do use google translate, the end screen of the maiden voyage once said something along the lines of "RARE geschenke" (as in rare presents).
