Ruby Splashtails

Having already had a splash tail event a different type of fish would have made it more worthwhile, grinding 200 was bad enough last time I’m not even attempting this one

I wish they had just made it fish. Even 600 fish would have ment most players could pick off the ones they need.

On the bright side found some fish bones on a ship we sunk last night... so this event wasn't all bad even though I won't get the ancient coins

It’s mainly for those people who can’t spend money for whatever reason. Or if they missed that last event but lack of figurehead.

I’m glad they figurehead isn’t rewarded. It’s now a....”rare” item

The whole thing confuses me. They released the first splash tail event and rewarded you with a gold hoarder figure head knowing that they were going to release splash tail themed costumes and ship set..

180 splash tails for a costume? Yea ok..
300 splash tails for a whole splashtail themed ship set? That's rough but ok..

Instead nope...$1.50 for a fishing rod 🤣 hard passssss

it would need to be 600 ancient coins for me to even consider it lol or a cosmetic, then id do it

@mrbadabing 150 ancientcoins is worth more than doubloons and coins and all you have to do is fish the most common fish of them all to get it

which also does not require any additional grinding for bait

i think a few hours of your time to get paid in currency which you originally have to pay real money for is a fair bargain
