FIX HIT REG AND NERF BLUNDER AND FIX SWORD

  • sword now requires very little skill [Mod edited]. Hit reg is a huge problem. I have shot someone 5 times with a pistol only to be one blundered. Sometimes the blunder one taps you from stupid ranges and is really annoying when on a ladder. Please fix something for once and stop making your game unplayable. Another thing: there is a thing called a tdm where you set sail at the same time in arena to get in the same lobby. After that you fight on the island and whoever gets more kill points wins the tdm. There are constant interferes that cannon spam. Pls make private tdm servers that you can’t benefit from. Now that arena is only 15 minutes tdm are going to die. This is sad since tdm are some of the only fun things to do. Pls add a tdm mode where you can duel on a fort with a kill counter for each team

    I do feel for the tdm people - a bit. And I would welcome such a gamemode. Taking 2 crews out of the arena match because they dont want to participate in the regular game constantly makes the regular game much less interesting.

  • @fatherpapadaddy The sword used to have a lot of indepth mechanics that Rare took out.

    It was trough exploits tough, but it definetly took a lot of skill to perform these mechanics.
    The sword used to take a lot of skill to master back in the days. but not so anymore now.

    This is false. You can still turn. Simply block, then sword dodge through your attackers in order to escape, and then either run away and heal or counter-attack them from behind.

    Yesterday, I successfully held off an entire galleon crew singlehandedly in their own Captain's cabin for ~30 seconds, while using this strategy, hitting each of them at least 3-4x for each time they successfully hit me. It would've lasted longer too, but 1 wizened up and blunderbombed the whole room. 😂

    Be courteous. Don’t insult players you don’t know. If humour is the intent, remember that this can be lost or misinterpreted online, and words can very easily offend. Be mindful of what you’re saying and if someone asks a question, see if you can help them out as you’d appreciate being helped out yourself if the roles were reversed.

  • @galactic-geek I don't use sword, i don't enjoy using weapons that require 90% spam left click and hold W. My entire crew has played for a very long time and none of us use it because of how ridiculous it is. When I say "they cant move", I am saying that normal movement is impeded, you are drastically slowed and you cannot move faster from jumping or trying to sprint. They have just buffed sword to 25 damage from 20 so sword now kills in 4 swings. this leaves almost no time to counter with blunder or sniper. I have held off entire galleons for many spawn cycles, but now more than ever, if you get hit by sword once, it is highly likely that you die. because you cannot get away from the 4th hit.

  • @c0rck the sword is quite powerful if you know when and how to use it the blunder is a high risk high reward the hitreg very often makes the blunder a joke too many times has none of my pellets hit and the guy turns around and one shots me
