I also put in a support ticket this morning and it was marked "solved" in less than one minute (not even enough time to read the whole thing). Not looking good for getting credit.

Honestly, I would be fine if they just unlocked access to the Ferrymen Jacket as compensation for lost credit (probably what most people are going for anyway). I don't plan on doing the 50 forts anyway - I will just go get 2 reapers chests for the 50 doobles! :)

Unfortunately they are not going to count them for you... I recall in August of 2018, there was a nasty bug with one of the Cursed Sails Commendations... It required you to complete the skeleton ship battle in an alliance where all crews were running the same sails.

It was a pain to get, but it was bugged and not counting properly when people met the proper conditions. They rolled out a fix and advised us that we would not be retroactively credited for it...

They didn't add it for anyone back then, and I don't expect they will with this one either.

Have cleared the fort 5 times, but as many, no commendation.
do get it from the killing of the skeleton though.

not really gonna play until it's fixed, since Im close to have killed 50 different colors

Dont care about the loot as Im PLA10, although it's a beautiful sight.
Im doing the fort for the commendations complete

You knew it wasn't working and you knew from a past similar issue that it likely wouldn't be rewarded retroactively. So it was completely your choice to go and do it anyway knowing you wouldn't get credit when you could have just waited for it to be fixed. I don't think Rare is going to be at all concerned about that.

I understand. They have metrics and data points for everything. Theoretically they could go through a player's account and look at everything they've done, including fort completions.

It would be a matter of manually locating and inputting the data most likely, which this is what I suspect they're not going to be willing to do.

@chronodusk I think the issue in this case, though, IS the data/metrics. They arent capturing that you beat the fort so there's no way to figure out who to give a commendation to. It's not a commendation issue, it's a data tracking issue. The commendation is just the symptom.

To me a larger issue revolves around the Insider process (ie: why wasn't this caught?) But that's a conversation for another subforum.

Just finished the fort again after the hot fix. Still no commendation. We were in an alliance but that shouldn’t matter. This is getting to be annoying.

I've already told everyone how to get it. The hotfix has not worked. I done 14 yesterday and got 2 credit. After doing the workaround. I have done 14 today and have 14 credited. 100% success rate.

I can tell you what I’m 99% sure the issue was that caused this to be missed in Insider testing, but it’d have to be in the Insider forums that we discuss it lol.

@satanicnemesis You must be having good luck. I've been trying to find an active fort for 30 mins and have only seen one. And they finished before i got there! Haha! I dont see many people doing it unfortunately. Maybe cause of the commendation, maybe cause of the grind. Who knows.

@tangus-00 Im in a 3 man crew, we all server hop until we get one, as soon as we arrive we tuck. When they open the fort we get the comms and bounce.

@satanicnemesis Cool. My crew wasnt on tonight so I tried solo but gave up on it. Haha!

The hotfix didn't work. Have finished the fort twice hours after the hotfix was announced and still nothing. Frustrating.

Guess I'll try tucking!

@king-deka Refreshing did nothing. Only the workaround posted in this thread seems to be the solution for now.

I can confirm that this is still broken. The alleged hotfix did not work, and I have lost yet another fort completion.

Still not working for me after this "hotfix" too. I just completed the fotd two more times tonight without getting credit for a total of seven clears and not a single one has counted.

I want that jacket so bad but it feels like it just wont happen. I wish they would put the jacket up for sale with gold as a work around to this stupid bug. Its very demoralizing to spend all this time working hard at something you know is time limited and not getting the credit you know you deserve.

Just completed it, no commendation either. Hope this gets fixed, it was a chore to do.

My first completion counted (I didn't die). The second completion did not, however I did die on this run, as did my crew. Someone mentioned to me that 1 person needs to survive the whole event for it to count for the crew.

I have no concrete evidence to support that though.

No, did the firt three times yeaterday and only one counted.
We had a guy on our boat the entire time so that's not how it works either.
When we did complete it the first time i did die.....alot of times and i got the achivement and completion.

So the tracker is broken af. Let's see when this...so called" hotfix" comes! 🤣🤣
