How sea of thieves won't be on PS4!!!

Why post this to a Sea of Thieves forum, where we all follow the game and understand how it functions?

Oh yeah, needless self promotion.

In short, no. Sea of Thieves is published by Microsoft Studios. SoT will only be available on Xbox One and Windows 10.

@tenderestcarp I understand where you posted it, I am just saying this is not your target audience. You are going to want to go to Reddit and the Playstation forums or the Sea of Thieves Reddit Forums.

The group of individuals here may have already played the game and are here because they care It also says at the very bottom of this page Xbox One and Windows 10.

While I do not care if you make these videos, self-promotion like this shows you do not care about the audience or your target demographic. You seem to try and do research about things that are very easy topics to cover and then spit them back out to the people who probably posted them before.

So I may advise you, find your target market, if it is the hardcore Sea of Thieves gamers, which are here, find some actual info and report it. If you just want click bait, post it to other sites who are not as knowledgeable about the topics than the games Forums.

I'd recommend changing the topic title to "Why Sea of Thieves won't be on PS4", to better reflect what you say in the video.

@tenderestcarp I will reply to both of your responses here.

1. You missed my point about self promotion here. I would like you to really take a look at the responses - besides mine - that you are getting. Many people are posting the response to your question. "Will SoT Be on PS4?" Many of them are saying No, Nope, it is a Microsoft game etc. These people are informed. Your video is for the uninformed. So posting that topic here on this forum no matter the location is not going to generate anything but a few minor clicks. They may start to watch your video see you already have a topic that they know about or may know more about than you and never hit that like or subscribe button. They just won't follow since you provide no new information for them.

2. McDonald's and Walmart advertise their stuff very well. McDonald's focuses on their commercials targeting Saturday morning cartoons so kids know what McD's is. Walmart focuses on prime time tv shows so that adults see what they are offering. Budweiser targets sporting events and primetime shows because that is what the adults watch, not the cartoons that kids watch.

3. Your target base is not Sea of Thieves Veterans and knowledgeable player base. Your target base is uninformed players who will be seeking the answer for the question you asked. Around here there are plenty of answers, many are much more informed than you. However, the few places I suggested you go post, the Reddit Playstation, Gaming or SoT subreddits will be less likely to be as informed as the group around here is.

4. I would target your market to kid gamers on youtube and the less informed individuals. That is where your self promotion will best get you results.
