I'll always agree hacks are available, doesn't mean that every perceived occurrence reported on these forums is legitimate. Could be a variety of factors, bugs, misconception of actual events in game (IE Belief a good hit up close was accurate, when it missed, etc), and yes - though I'm not saying this is the case in this thread .... lies.
You can report since day -11... all we can do is continue to report. Hackers will continue to hack, cheat programs will continue to spread, it's a finger in the dam.
The point, restated, about the google searches is that I agree hacks do exist, never said they don't. I simply, continue to remark as I always do on threads like this, and that is to ask...
Where the evidence? Cant post it on the forums because of screen names etc? Ok... Then report it to Rare, and get on with business. No need to screech on the forums how nothing is being done.
Because unless your in the Rare offices yourself and are aware of what's happening? It's all he said she said.

It seems to me, there are enough PC and XB players to split them up. I said it before, I quit PC games a long time ago due to cheaters. I suck at CQB with an XB controller but willing to deal with that if it means getting away from the cheaters. If you play on a PC you know the risks. We don’t need this for XB.

You may not have seen any hackers but that doesn't mean they were not there playing on the same server as you. The sea of thieves is quite a bit arena, it's very easy to avoid people. Just because you're not seeing things doesn't mean they don't exist.
Google the Chest ESP hack. Someone on your server might be using it and stripping all of the loot from islands before you get there. You were the victim of their cheating, you just didn't know it.

Reports on XBOX don't do a thing and even if they do it takes years for someone to get banned we need another solution. If not for us PC players atleast do it for the XBOX players.
Without a doubt hackers/hacks exist in this game. Any PC game, ANY and ALL get hacked. Pretty simple. They ONLY fix is Xbox and PC dedicated servers. Every cross platform game there is, PC players hack, exploit and cheat. It’s simple. To the trolls who say “omg’s don’t post these threads”, and then proceed to berate and belittle people. Just go away. There is always the option of NOT clicking and responding to a thread. People like this are the reason your little PC gamer cult is generally despised and hated by console gamers everywhere. Elitists and extremely weak minded, needing a competitive advantage to hang.
A couple times my wifey and I have had our games ruined by hackers. There are even players who openly use hacks, advertise that they do, to the point of openly admitting in game chat.
What I have leaned from the beginning of this forum, SOT PC players on here are the some of the most uppity entitled gamers with a serous case of DENIAL!! Most just love to troll, on forums and In games. PC players, police your little immature community.

I have never seen a whale irl therefore it must not exist.
I have also never been instabrigged so I guess that never happens either.
I have never been attacked upon logging in so I'm assuming that also has never happened to anyone.
Now as far as hacking goes I've seen a few... honestly maybe 1 or 2 times for sure its been so rare for me that it's not really an issue and I generally would switch servers and move on.
Last night ran into someone who shot a sniper rifle on my boat facing the wrong direction and somehow hit and killed me I even saw the bullet fly... made no sense aimbot? Or just lag who knows. But no big deal. What I really dont get is the post people make and it seems every min of playtime they are with "hackers" that is what I find a little bit unbelievable. If it does happen one time I think maybe thats enough to push people over the edge. But for some to simply say it doesn't exist at all is just being ignorant imo.

First of all I can guarantee I've spent more time playing this game than you have Pirate legend or not due to Alpha testing ect....
Second I've sent in video of modders (Even one of the guy admitting it) so it is a problem even if you haven't experienced it yourself.
Third once again if you've not had issues why do you feel the need to come into a thread and trash people that have?
Cheats exist but they are all client side and don't do any of the functionality that was described. Sounds like the OP has a p**s poor connection. Health and ships are server side so people can't give themselves infinite health/ammo/supplies.
The only way people can cheat are using the aim bots and esp. You will know when you encounter that.
@aa-yeti my internet is just fine i have google fiber and a gaming package so nice try :) i follow my stats while i play and stream so whats the next excuse. oh i can go on stream live and show you my net stats while i play if you would like :) i have been gaming for a long time son im probably older then most on the forum so before you use the c****y internet excuse just dont son :)

When I initially heard there was hacking in this game I thought it was most likely just some people sore over the fact someone was better than they were. I have been playing since the alpha's and never had any issues with it myself until recently. My ship just magically exploded while anchored at an outpost alone. Boom! Done. After that there is a guy on the ghost ship with me and he then spawns in twenty chicken crates on the dock without even being on the outpost himself or possibly even on the server? Later on during a mission on another server I got shot by an invisible gun while sailing my sloop in the middle of the open ocean. No one around, no ships, no other players on or around my ship. Just the sound of a gun firing and me dead. When I respawn on my ship its as if nothing has happened. Same thing the time my sloop was blown up at anchor. Respawn back in to find nobody around and everything just the way I left it besides the twenty chicken crates the random guy on the ship of the damned spawned in for some reason. What the hell is going on?
