But when you're dead, I don't think there's even an other option to need to distinguish between primary and secondary. It's either sit there and wait for a revive or hold a button to release.
Yeah, this is probably a better solution considering that the purpose of 'reduce hold' is for accessibility so excluding the respawn function from that completely and forcing a hold seems to be against the purpose of the setting.
The only other way to change it would be maybe make it a press instead of a hold, but instead of respawning it opens a countdown timer dialog/toast that releases to the ferry when it hits zero (which would take roughly the same time as the hold did) but you could cancel with another button press.
