Excellent voyage quality updates, I hope future updates focus on end game content. Some ideas I hope could get implemented!

  • As I appreciate the updates towards voyage quality. I would love to see some bigger changes revolving around already available mechanics that I think would be lovely additions to the already awesome game we know as SOT.
    Additional player activated events, similar to the Fort of the Damned. Additional ways to spend money; examples below. Since the rare spawn mechanic exists (Ancient skeleton) you could think about adding some rare spawning monsters that spawn a rare chest similar to chest of rage/sorrows rarity.

    Gold Spending:
    Pirate Legend perks:
    Spend money to purchase an empty storage crate.
    NPC in the pirate hideout sells limited pineapples.
    Customize ship with a “Glow” for in game money each session

    Idea) Hunters Flag :
    150k each time to raise the flag
    LVL UP : By Sink others ships / Defeating World Events - Bonus for sinking Emissary (Esp Reapers to promote helping trading companies from the reapers company)
    Seen on map (blue)
    Needs to reach level 5 to sell loot
    Sell loot in exchange for tokens
    Exclusive Hunters cosmetics/titles for tokens
    Optional : Shows Emissary brief locations (1 ship in Ashen area)

    Arena:

    Make a dedicated map with 5 islands, one on each corner and a fort in the middle (chest delivery) with cannons.
    This could be good for a capture the flag type of game.
    Brig arena 2v2v2.

  • @spawz I think instead of Hunter, which relates to fishing, megs, kraken the word you are looking for is privateer.
    Privateers are ships working as mercenaries for the crown to hunt down pirates

    for your idea to work I would say that you lose Emissary points for sinking gold/order/merch emissaries but gain by killing neutrals and reapers (along with world events)

    the lvl 5 bonus could be that selling loot gives "doubloons" (obviously Balanced not to overflow the currency more than it already is)

    next, I would remove the reach lvl 5 to sell loot. defeats the spirit of PvPvE
