I would love to see some bigger changes revolving around already available mechanics that I think would be lovely additions to the already awesome game we know as SOT.<br>
Additional player activated events, similar to the Fort of the Damned. Additional ways to spend money; examples below. Since the rare spawn mechanic exists (Ancient skeleton) you could think about adding some rare spawning monsters that spawn a rare chest similar to chest of rage/sorrows rarity.</p>

Pirate Legend perks:<br>
Spend money to purchase an empty storage crate.<br>
NPC in the pirate hideout sells limited pineapples.<br>
Customize ship with a “Glow” for in game money each session</p>
<p dir="auto">Idea) Hunters Flag :<br>
150k each time to raise the flag<br>
LVL UP : By Sink others ships / Defeating World Events  - Bonus for sinking Emissary (Esp Reapers to promote helping trading companies from the reapers company)<br>
Seen on map (blue)<br>
Needs to reach level 5 to sell loot<br>
Sell loot in exchange for tokens<br>
Exclusive Hunters cosmetics/titles for tokens<br>
Optional : Shows Emissary brief locations (1 ship in Ashen area)</p>
<p dir="auto">Arena:</p>
<p dir="auto">Make a dedicated map with 5 islands, one on each corner and a fort in the middle (chest delivery) with cannons.<br>
This could be good for a capture the flag type of game.<br>
Brig arena 2v2v2.</p>

Privateers are ships working as mercenaries for the crown to hunt down pirates</p>
<p dir="auto">for your idea to work I would say that you lose Emissary points for sinking gold/order/merch emissaries but gain by killing neutrals and reapers (along with world events)</p>
<p dir="auto">the lvl 5 bonus could be that selling loot gives "doubloons" (obviously Balanced not to overflow the currency more than it already is)</p>
<p dir="auto">next, I would remove the reach lvl 5 to sell loot. defeats the spirit of PvPvE</p>
