No way to exit from ship selected, force quit using task manager, now I can't restart the game.

    So ESC wasn't working on the ship select, had to end process, but now when I try to start the game I get the small splash image and then the SoE client quits on me. Tried several times, tried restarting PC and both result in the same issue. I assume it's because the server still thinks I'm connected and thus I have to wait to time out.

    @trigger-myke Could you try these possible solutions?

    Other possible solutions:

    • [Link] Install a random application from the microsoft store (then uninstall it if you want).
    • [Link] Try changing your Local Account to your Microsoft Account or vice versa.
    • Restart the pc.
    • Reinstall the game.
    • The Windows Update service may be stopped.

    I managed to fix it. What was causing the issue was a program called virtual audio cable. something i use to split audio channels using software rather than hardware.
