The Kraken capstan doesn't not match the rest of the ship. The wood is very clear, while the rest of the set is drak grey. Here is how it should look.

@guilleont The wood actually does match - it's just not slathered in ink like the rest of the ship. Slather it up in ink, and we're good to go!

Probably, but a lot of the older ship sets have to be updated because of mismatching masts, etc. In other words, it's a far wider problem than just the kraken set.
@galactic-geek Yes. Also this. While in some ships I like the basic wood colours, in other feels lame.
Also the inside of the hull. In Arena look awesome. In the sloops, the old sets have all the hull painted. Unlike the new ones, with some exceptions (Silver Blade, Banjo-Kazooie, Parrot, Kraken itself).
Looking at this pic below, the cannons are more plain than the actual ones. I think they just forget to give the capstan the same look.
