@andyxxpanda1290 I'm not doing anything wrong and anchored or not the server will still merged, I was anchored the first and second time it happened, and the reason I can't complete it is because it won't show the images for the coins after I put all the correct symbols on the pillars for all three times.

@xx-zino-dino-xx I promise you server will not merge if you don’t anchor. Playing since beta. I will play on severs for 12 plus hours without anchoring. After the 12 plus hours if I even anchor once with all player on ship servers merge as soon as that anchor touches ground. Don’t believe me test it. You shouldn’t argue a fact that you don’t know. I’m trying to help you but you are unwilling to be open. You are upset I get it. It’s frustrating. Was this a post to rant or try to solve your issue? I have the gold curse I completed each tale 5 times a piece with no issue.

I’m going to say this one more time. If the server is going to merge it will wait til you anchor. If you don’t anchor no merge.

@andyxxpanda1290 You may not have had any problems while doing the tall tales but I was doing it basically on a empty server since it was later at night and early in the morning that's why the server kept merging, it was trying to find one with people in it.

@xx-zino-dino-xx I understand the server kept merging I play late at night every night I have weird hours. I’m always on empty servers. If you don’t anchor it won’t merge. I get off of work at 11pm I play u til 7 am sometimes. If you don’t anchor you won’t merge. I’m giving you a workaround. Why are you anchoring anyway? Tactically it’s a disadvantage.

If you think it’s broken submit a ticket. I’m not saying the server merge didn’t cause an issue. I’m giving you a workaround. A fix that will help you. Don’t anchor server won’t merge.

@andyxxpanda1290 The problem isn't about anchoring or not, it's the fact that when the server merges it glitches the tall tale out to where it won't let you complete it, and you must realize that not everyone is going to keep their anchor up, they could be passing barrels in the water and drop their anchor in the water to get supplies, I'm just saying that it's a bug that they should fix before a whole bunch of people start complaining about it.

If you think there is a bug or glitch you are supposed to put a support ticket in. If you don’t want to take my advice fine. Most experienced players don’t anchor you don’t need to. if I pass barrels in the water I see them ahead of time and raise sail to stop on time to get them. Or just like everyone else send someone to get supplies and keep going. Even using your example of barrels when a server merges most likely those barrels will disappear so the anchor would have been pointless anyway. If a server mergers you risk losing things on islands or in water. Sunken ships, skull forts, reapers chests, skeletons ships, and more may all disappear. If you know the server seems empty maybe don’t anchor.

I was literally only trying to help you and give you advice. You posted a problem I gave you advice to help. I assume you followed the proper procedure and submitted a ticket for this?

@andyxxpanda1290 Well no, but I never asked for your help I was literally posting this so if other people see this they will no to be careful, and I was planning on making a support ticket soon but I wanted to see if anyone else had this probably.

@xx-zino-dino-xx and I was posting to give u a workaround or possibly other people a workaround so they don’t run into your problem. I could have not said anything and just laughed anytime Some one lost progression after they merged servers.

Had the same bug. sailed with a friend for an hour. Servers got merged, we finished the first riddle in the cave of Crook's Hollow, but after that no pictures occured on that table in the middle of the room. We tried to work around and dig where the Medallions usually are, but there weren't there. After another Server merge, we went into the room again and we could do the first riddle again, but still no pictures occured after that again… :/ Must be an issue with the Server merges and the tall tale. Pretty sad for the time we've spend.

@andyxxpanda1290 I've had a server merge while sailing. It has only happened once in thousands of hours playing, but it did happen. Anchor up, sails down, full speed.
