Resurrecting a thread over month old is not permitted is a terrible rule. I’m on other gaming forums where some threads are persistent over years and continue discourse on a topic.
I had a thread locked because I located a missing code from Chips Ahoy, it was an update to my original posting. Why would I make new thread to comment on an older thread’s discussion that I started, that just seems silly.

A necro is when posts are old and no longer deemed relevant, useful or correct.
We try to keep the posts here fresh and active, some threads overtime become full of outdated like old information/fixes/bug fixes/tips and tricks so we try to lock them and request users create a new topic on the matter. That way, we know everyone is getting correct, up to date information and not something that was posted 5 to 6 months or even a year or so old.
So while it isn't a massive offence we do like to keep on top of it.

The guy had a thread what got locked, he asked a question which you answered. I linked the forum rules so he can read through and not make a similar mistake..
So why are you trying to jump down my throat??? Seriously go find something better to do... so sad.
