A suggestion for Forts to increase there difficulty and variety

    • Each wave spawns with a lieutenant.
    • The crew will continue to spawn mobs until the lieutenant is defeated.
    • Once the lieutenant is down the mobs will no longer replenish so once defeated a new wave commences as usual.
    • The skelly lieutenants and captains could have a wider variety of appearances and abilities.
    • Tall powerfully built skelly who carries a cannon in both hands (could even attack your ship?)
    • A fast duel wielding cutlass skelly who attacks relentlessly who proves difficult to take down in melee, but with curses, cannons or ranged weaponry is manageable.
    • As it goes for abilities some may leap large distances, some throw their sword at you or your ship and spawns a group of skellies at the impact location, some may even detonate on death.

    Of course this is just the tip of the possibilities of what there could be.

  • If i'm talking for myself I find the skeleton forts difficult enough. Especially the explosive skeletons. If they should remove the explosive skellies with some of the things you suggest then that could be an improvement.

  • @captain-nicklas Interestingly I would have thought that the gunpowder skellies would be more of a detriment to the health of a mini-boss as such. May I ask, are you alone when doing forts?

  • @xfinnazx No, i'm always doing forts with a crew. Sometimes the explosives can be handy when fighting golden skellies for example. But because the forts are relatively small and multiple explosive skellies can spawn it becomes really annoying when dying avery couple of minutes.
