Athena 10 - Level Cap Increase + Ghost Items Linked to Level Increase.

    Dear RARE team, who work hard in increasing the fun for everyone. I ask for this one thing before weeks end.

    For your most dedicated, completionist players, who play on the daily. Who think that what you have done for people leveling up through Athena 1+ is great.

    Please increase the level cap for the Athena 10 players and link the increased ghost cosmetic set to the upwards climb.

    This last update was the right time to do it. Not having the retroactive commendations, require this to go hand in hand for those who are at AT10. For many this will be critical in sticking with you and the game.

    And what is the difference doing that for A20 e.g. or again while A10?
    You drive the measures and you want meaning and exclusiveness, but forget about other players who arent PL yet like me.
    This is literally nothing other than you want to grow your ePeens to A20 or A100 or whatever to get a meaning for your exageration on gaming systems, instead of playing a game AND most important you drive measures normal players wont reach ever and lock them off.
    Make a chore and a work out of playing a game is what you are asking for.
    And i tell all the others:
    They wont stop!
    They will smoke up and exploit content in no time again and then still asking for more and more and more.
    Glutton achievers working off something instead playing a game.
    I am curious if the devs fall for their arguments one day and make it nearly unreachable to the normal player who plays for fun in the first line.

    @stundorn I feel like your response had allot of personal assumptions about my thoughts and motivations. Allot of which were very wrong and unjustified and a bit insulting, but no worries.

    If you had read any of my other comments in the forum and knew a bit more about me, you would realize that I am very happy that the people leveling up to PL and Athena have increased content and motivation with the Comendations, and will be rewarded well.

    I would like for you to understand that I am requesting this level cap increase, to go hand in hand with the new content they have added. I do not wish to take anything away. I am all for the game growing and increasing in scope and content for ALL Players.

    For the AT10 players, it would be nice to have an an increase in level cap and cosmetics to follow so that we too have a greater incentive to play and receive those fun XP upgrades when handing in treasure.

    Me growing my " ePeens to A20 " does not mean I am not having fun in the game :) i am also not looking to put others down to increase my climb up, these are personal goals. ( I don't discriminate who I sink in PVP, or what level you are :) )

    As far as me not caring about people who are not PL like you, I spend quite allot of my game time helping people like you, so best not make such assumptions.

    Instead of being able to become Athena 20, I prefer that legendary items are connected to Athena's reputation rather than to commendation goals that I have done several times and have not been considered

    @theunionjames In this game, as per what we have been cultured to do by the game so far, what I am proposing is the most logical and quick step to take. I would rather have this than what I have now. A re-play.

    @hruodbhertsasha Yes this is the main point of my suggestion. The quickest and most natural progression step to allow AT10 players to enjoy the new content and unlocks of the PL ATHENA 1 to 10 grind, with a bonus item as we continue to climb the ladder.

    @theunionjames My suggestion is Progress upward. Perhaps it is not the most creative solution. ( obviously that would include adding new quest types etc ) But its what we are used to. Because they have released commendations that require handing in Athena chests, and that by doing that, PL Athena 1 + will get both Athena rep for Upward progress AND commendation unlocks.. it leaves AT10 players only getting Commendation unlocks and No progression. We get half the benefit.

    The Least they could do is increase the level cap, with per level item unlock, and allow AT10 players the same satisfaction of upgrading Athena, instead of just watching all others have a more fun time than we did getting there. While we sit in a Level Pause mode.
