I see a number of suggestions for glowing sails on various SoT Facebook groups.
The argument usually boils down to Make some of the sails glow VS I don't want to be extra visible while sailing.
My suggestion is put an Order of Souls cauldron on each ship that can be loaded with a skull. The brighter the skull, the brighter the glow, no skull - no glow.
