Hello everyone, Sharkhead67 here! I would like to propose an idea for a new game mechanic. I think that it would be cool if players could utilize a large, ship-mounted harpoon gun that would latch to another crew's ship. After latching onto said ship, the crew using the harpoon would crank an anchor-like mechanism to pull the enemy ship closer. This could provide a new way of approaching naval combat. Perhaps for balancing purposes, the enemy crew could attack the harpoon latched on their ship with their cutlasses to break it free. Additionally, the crew using the harpoon would have to wind up the gun before and after firing in order to use it. There could be many other potential features of this potential new mechanic that I haven't thought of or included here, so please leave your thoughts in the comments! Thanks for reading!

@sharkhead67 This is a great idea! I would love to have this mechanic working in game. I could just imagine it. The enemy ship firing a harpoon that latches onto your ship. The ship starts to move towards you and your crew prepares for a fight. This would be a whole other way of thinking before you board an enemy ship.
