I'm down 7 Athena chests because of these bugs after The Bilge Rat Cursed Crews and also ive done two today both times i end up dieing once on a solo sloop and i go to the "Ferry of the Damned" and i get a black screen. just now i was 2 Pirate Captains away and nope all my progress JUST GONE its 12:45 am i stood up 2 and a half hours longer just so i can finish this and i have to wake up at 5:40 for morning football practice and then school. I am wondering if there is anyway i can receive some experience in Athena's Fortune for the 25+ hours wasted doing this.

@callmebackdraft and then today i get stuck black screen on the ferry of the damned i never got the chance to turn in the chest at the end
@dah-hooded that bug was fixed allready last monday night,
The black screen is a new one i havent seen in a while, loading wheel bottom right also gone ?
@callmebackdraft Yes its a new bug that came with the fixes today. its happend to me about 4 times already
@joyousdefiance I was thinking the same thing today as I was unable to find a Fort for over an hour. When we finally found one, the server had crazy ping spikes that sent us off our ships and sometimes to the bottom of the sea, nearly killing us. Then, when doing the skelly waves at a Fort struggling to run around and get bananas from the terrible new barrel UI as the endless firing squads gun me down while still in the menu. I'm recognizing the game I use to love less and less.

@mad-jack-ketch that's not what the OP is referring to. He lost his session's progress when the game was stuck on a black screen.
The game's stability problems are that much more frustrating for us solo players. It has resulted in me also cutting my play-time back, quite drastically. I'm glad that they're going to extend the ability to earn doubloons from this [current Cursed Crews] event, but it's still disappointing.

Yeah so have I. What's going on with the Athena's rep? I was at around 5.75 but when I looked last night I was at 5.0. I turned in a Chest of Legends last night also and didn't get any rep for it. This is frustrating.
And on another note is says I've only turned in 4 Fort Skulls ever. This last update irks me.

He's not talking about that bug. He's talking about losing his progress through the Athena's voyage. You can't dig up the legendary chest until you've completed the rest of the mission. His game froze at a black screen, and he lost all of his progress towards the legendary chest. He is not talking about how the progress is not appearing on the reputation box/wheel/thing.
