More Weapons

  • I think the weapon system is very good but there are so few weapons ... a sniper a flintlock pistol a blunderbuss and a saber ...
    how about an ax or a heavy melee weapon that is slower but more effective or a dagger that is faster but not so effective or a harpoon launcher with which you can grab things for 5 seconds so you can pull down pirate from a ship, or a musket like the sniper is except that it don't have a scope.

  • @admiralslimyy yah we def need this. it would change up the fighting a lot. i think that the guns have enough options. strong sniper, shotgun basically and ranged pistol with medium damage. not sure what else they could add gun wise. maybe the ability to have dual pistols or something for a 'rapid fire' two shot thing.

    what we need tho like you said is more melee weaponry. daggers could be cool and maybe even projectile in function also. axe would be brutal i like that maybe also tactical if you could use it against walls to do a wall jump but maybe it doesnt block. i like the idea of a heavy sword. maybe some kinda spear or i guess thats basically a harpoon haha. tridents! haah maybe im getting too far off but the more there are the more variety we will havve in combat and if you can only have two weapons at a time you can make team choices. This is your gunman he carries the irons. This is your melee specialist he has swords. This is your stealthy pirate he has an axe to climb ships and daggers for distance kills or stealthy bacckstabs haha. idk, but just yes we need more of this.

    not upgrades. available to all, but just making it so people choose different stuff for variety

  • Interesting. I'm for...pretty much one thing you said lol.

    Axes. An axe lunge could be incorporated. But making specialty types? Just sounds like Battlefield, and SoT should be it's own thing.

    Projectiles weapons? Meh count me out. People would die 2x as fast; knife, gunshot, sword swing...because why couldnt you carry a knife and sword? So combat would favor death over life because attack outweighs block 3:1; right now it's a limited 1.5:1 because of reload time and stockable HP (banana f*w)

  • Mixing stats of the following attributes would give you a great variety of interesting weapons:

    -Ammo capacity

    -Rate of fire

    -Damage

    -Range

    -Other factors (scope, magical abilities, etc)

  • @admiralslimyy I still want to slap skeletons with my shovel or a plank of wood.
